Hi, my name is Mackenzie Moran. I'm 22 years old. I work full time at B&B Sunoco and I also work as an Assistant Manager at the Essex & Sussex in Spring Lake. I am also a fitness instructor here at Superior Fitness! Working out is my passion. I want to motivate people to achieve their goals!
Kristin Harris is new to the area, but certainly not to fitness! She's been a certified personal trainer for over 12 years and holds too many other certifications to name. She's taught many formats and disciplines, but loves a good circuit workout. She's into endurance sports and enjoys running the 10 mile Broad St race in Philly every year. She's also a two time Ironman 70.3 finisher! Kristin's background is in musical theater and her true passion is dance. You'll probably see her dancing around the gym and always reminding you to BREATHE! She'll also encourage you to sing along to your favorite song because it'll help regulate you're breathing, burns calories, and is FUN! When she's not doing something fitness related, you can find her at Genevieve's in Seaside Heights where she's the front
of house manager. Kristin is SUPER excited to be part of the SUPERIOR family and hopes to see you in class soon!
My name is Jenny Conklin. I am a registered nurse who encourages others to live a healthy lifestyle. I have been in love with exercise & fitness since the age of 18. I was an avid runner and frequented the gym to take classes and weight train. This brought me to my decision to become a certified group fitness instructor in 2006. I enjoy the enthusiasm and dedication in the group fitness atmosphere. I teach Real Ryder, Superior Strong & Superior Core. I enjoy pushing people beyond their comfort zone to achieve their goals. I believe exercise should be a way of life and encourage those around me to make the commitment.
I fell in love with fitness when I was 18 but it quickly became a very unhealthy obsession that stemmed from hating my body. Since that time My relationship With a healthy lifestyle has gone through ups and downs. It ultimately led me to want to become a trainer myself, so I could help people who may face these challenges, too.
Now I work out in gratitude as a way to honor my body for all that is capable of doing. I do it for my life, not so I can look good for one season or for a special event. I understand that it is a relationship, that it takes effort and hard work to form a healthy lifestyle, and that it will go through cycles. I also know that working out is something that I have always used as an outlet, it is something in life that has always been there for me when I really needed to release anger or when I felt lost.
One of my greatest joys in life is helping people! I hope that I continue to have the ability to help others strengthen their relationship with health and fitness and that they can feel confident and strong as they walk through life, too!

I was an avid marathoner...23 Starts 23 Finishes and two over 4 hours and 10min (not a fun ride home). PR 3:31. My favorite marathons were Boston and Anchorage. Sadly I learned a very important life lesson; "Too Much of Anything is Not Good." My running high mileage and not enough off days lead to 5 spinal surgeries. I've learned one important piece of advice and fact about fitness...LISTEN to your body, you need to take 1 to 2 days off weekly.
