I have been seriously into fitness and working out for the past 20 years, however, I have had the pleasure of working out with Michelle now for several years. One might think that working out alongside the same trainer day in and day out, year after year, would get repetitive or boring. Perhaps that is true with other trainers, but not with Michelle. I work out 6 days a week and still find myself challenged by Michelle’s classes.

She goes out of her way to get to know each and every client – not only educating herself about their past injuries and/or limitations, she also takes the time to learn what your goals are and what obstacles might be keeping you from attaining your goals. Michelle is not one of those coaches who watches you struggle to keep up or perform the exercise, she will be working out, sweating (and sometimes swearing & complaining!) right along next time you. She asks how you’re doing again and again to be sure you’re comfortable and to be sure you’re performing every exercise properly (although she may suggest you get out of your comfort zone and exchange your wimpy weight for something heavier)

Michelle has been there at my best- taking 2 classes a day (sometimes more if time permitted) 7 days a week, to train for a half marathon or complete a fitness challenge down below my goal of less than 20% body fat, and she has also been there with me at my worst- during and after an injury which kept me from exercising for several months . Michelle checked in with me regularly while I was out tending to my injury and recovery. Michelle is absolutely the most motivational, personal, energetic, inspirational and effective trainer I have ever worked with.

To say that I’m excited that Michelle is opening her own fitness studio is a major understatement. Michelle has a work ethic that any employer would look for and no doubt has helped all of her former employer’s businesses flourish. I cannot wait to see what new adventures business will present – there is no doubt in my mind that it will take my fitness abilities to the next level.

Let me start by saying that Michelle tried so hard to get me to come into her classes. I was beyond afraid of her, but deep down I wanted so badly too work out and train with Michelle.
